Sound & Performance

Warm, Responsive Clean Tones

The Normal channel delivers warm, articulate American-voiced cleans with plenty of dynamic response. Played gently, the amp remains open and glassy; turn up the volume and the EL84 power section begins to deliver the natural compression and organic tube breakup that make this amplifier so enjoyable to play.

Bluesy, Vocal Overdrive

The Lead channel provides the Delta Blues with its characteristic mid-forward, vocal quality. The combination of Pre-Gain and Post-Gain controls allows you to shape everything from lightly pushed blues tones to saturated tube overdrive.

As with many EL84-based combos, the amplifier responds strongly to guitar volume and picking dynamics, making it easy to move between clean and overdriven sounds from the instrument itself.

The 2x10 Configuration

This version's two 10-inch Peavey Blue Marvel speakers provide quick transient response, articulate note definition, and a punchy low end.
