1. Payment and Refund Policy:
All payments for lesson packages must be settled in advance, adhering to the payment terms established by Art of Guitar (AOG). It's important to note that these payments are non refundable.
2. Rescheduling and Makeup Lessons:
Rescheduling requests should be submitted via email and confirmed by AOG at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. In situations where a tutor-initiated rescheduling occurs, you will have the choice to proceed with another tutor or reschedule the lesson to a mutually suitable time, subject to tutor availability.
Additionally, any rescheduling initiated by the student must ensure that the makeup lesson takes place within the package's specified validity period. This stipulation guarantees that the makeup lesson remains within the bounds of the package's expiry date.
Makeup Lessons: To ensure availability and proper arrangements, makeup lessons must be scheduled before the forthcoming lesson, within the package's validity period and based on our availability.
3. Package Management:
Packages may be suspended by submitting an email request and obtaining written confirmation from AOG. This confirmation will encompass the approved freezing duration.
Lesson packages are subject to specific time constraints and must not surpass the stipulated expiry dates:
6 Weeks
- Expiration: Occurs within a 6 week period from the date of first scheduled lesson.
- Freezing: Not applicable for this package duration.
- Rescheduling: Permitted as per the Rescheduling terms, and in alignment with the terms governing makeup lessons.
Quarterly
- Expiration: Occurs within a 3-month period from the date of first scheduled lesson.
- Freezing: One specified period of freezing allowed, with reserved slots available for a maximum of 1 week, and the freezing period not exceeding 60 days.
- Rescheduling: Permitted as per the Rescheduling terms, and in alignment with the terms governing makeup lessons.
Seasonal
- Expiration: Occurs within a 6 month period from the date of first scheduled lesson.
- Freezing: One specified period of freezing allowed, with reserved slots available for a maximum of 1 week, and the freezing period not exceeding 60 days.
- Rescheduling: Permitted as per the Rescheduling terms, and in alignment with the terms governing makeup lessons.
Annual
- Expiration: Occurs within a 1 year period from the date of first scheduled lesson.
- Freezing: Two specified periods of freezing allowed, with reserved slots available for a maximum of 2 weeks (1 week per period), and the freezing period not exceeding 60 days.
- Rescheduling: Permitted as per the Rescheduling terms, and in alignment with the terms governing makeup lessons.
4. Tutor Arrangements:
AOG retains the right to arrange tutor substitutions. In such cases, AOG will supply reasonable advance notice.
5. Exclusive Discounts:
Exclusive discounts are not applicable to promotions, offers, or any other special arrangements unless explicitly indicated.
6. Package Vouchers:
Voucher Redemption:
Package vouchers are exclusively redeemable for musical instruments and must be utilized within the designated package lifetime and before the expiry date.
Package Redemption for Returns:
If you wish to redeem your lesson package price against musical instruments or products, please note that this option is only available with a minimum product value of AED 5000. This redemption is subject to AOG's set terms and conditions.
7. Academic Testing: (ABRSM, Trinity, RockSchool)
AOG encompasses the cost of academic testing for recording tests, limited to once per calendar year. This provision is exclusively relevant to the packages listed below:
- At Least one Annual Premium Package.
- At Least two Seasonal Premium Packages.
- At Least four Quarterly Premium Packages.
- At Least eight 6 Week Premium Packages.
