This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, processed, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase via the www.artofguitar.me website and mobile application (together the “Site”).

The Site is owned and operated by Art of Guitar Musical Instruments Trading LLC trading as Art of Guitar, and by using the Site you expressly consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We are very careful with any information you provide to us, we do not sell or share the information we collect to anyone.

We do use this information to provide you with a better service, internal record keeping, to communicate with you either directly or through selected and trusted third parties by email / telephone or post if you have ordered or purchased products from us, to share information about new products, services and events that may be of interest to you.


When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. We use the Device Information that we collect with Zendesk Chat to help us to provide you with a personal service during your time viewing our website. This information is processed by Zendesk Chat in accordance with their Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy (https://www.zendesk.com/company/customers-partners/privacy-policy/).

We use Device Information that we collect to provide you with tailored adverts on Facebook, Instagram and Google Display Network.

We use Device and Order Information that we collect to send you our Email newsletter unless you have opted out of receiving any email marketing in our online checkout. We use MailChimp as our email platform in accordance with their Privacy Policy (https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/).

We use Order information that we collect to contractually fulfill your order using our chosen couriers DHL, Royal Mail and FedEx. This is done in accordance with each courier’s own Privacy Policy, and Order Information is never shared for any other reason than this.


We may share your Personal Information with carefully selected third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above and mainly with any of the following: our group companies, service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, logistics, couriers, Site maintenance, customer support.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to third parties if we sell or buy any business assets in which case We may disclose your Personal information to the prospective or confirmed buyer seller or buyer; to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, for the purpose of crime prevention and fraud protection, or to otherwise protect our rights.


Additionally, please note that your information might be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United State, We only transfer Personal Information to these countries, when it is necessary for the services we provide you, or subject to appropriate safeguards that assure the protection of your Personal Information, such as European Commission approved standard contractual clauses.

Under certain circumstances, and as the case may be, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. When Personal Information is processed on the basis of consent, you may withdraw such consent at any time. Once we have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your information for the purpose or purposes you originally agreed to, unless we have another legitimate basis for doing so in law.


We will retain your Personal Information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Your Personal Information that is processed for marketing purposes will be stored until you exercise the right to withdraw consent, and once such right is exercised, such information will be kept only during the applicable statute of limitations period for any disputes or liabilities that may arise as a consequence of the processing of that information (which is up to 15 years in the UAE). Once potential actions are time barred we will proceed to delete the personal data.
