What do Joe Walsh's "Rocky Mountain Way", Eric Clapton's "Layla" and Billy Gibbons's "La Grange" have in common? All these songs were recorded with the legendary Fender Tweed Champ, a spartanically-equipped, small Class A combo with a typical 3-6 Watt output power. This amp has incredible dynamics - you can control it excellently with the volume of the guitar and with attack strength. Fully cranked it gives you a full crunch sound. This amp is also one of Shawn Michael's favourites. Shawn Michael is the mastermind from Lovepedal. Jamming at late hours was not exactly the Champs strong point if you wanted to stay friends with your neighbours, so the magical sound had to be packed into an effect pedal. This has been very well done, the characteristic sound and the dynamics of the Tweed Champ are convincingly reproduced at every volume.
