Fender’s Custom Shop Limited Edition ’65 Telecaster Custom Heavy Relic may wear the double-bound elegance of a mid-’60s model on the outside, but it’s loaded with early ’50s Tele twang! This instrument’s ash body sports a Fender Custom Shop Heavy Relic finish for a worn in feel right out of the box, with a hint of sunburst creeping out on the lower bout for some classic overspray style. Both the neck and fingerboard boast a quarter-sawn maple construction for extreme stability, while the 9.5-inch fingerboard radius is ideal for players who require a more modern playing experience. Finally, a pair of Hand-wound Fender Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster pickups deliver the magic that only an early ’50s Tele can provide, full of round low end, balanced midrange, and shimmering highs!
