The Fender Custom Shop 1957 Stratocaster Super Heavy Relic is an awesome guitar straight for the team built bench in Corona. Heavily influenced by the Masterbuilders trying to get a perfect playing instrument within the confines of the Stratocaster guidelines this one really pushes the boundaries of what is possible to create an amazing guitar; both from a visual and sonic perspective this is one interest guitars we’ve had for a long time! The lightweight alder body, comes with an aged parchment white three-ply pickguard, original '57 Stratocaster contoured shape , while the HSS pickup configuration introduces a versatility unmatched across the Stratocaster range.

Heavy Relic Finish with Colour over Colour: Meticulously aged to a Super Heavy Relic state, the look and feel match a well loved and played guitar with the super smooth neck aiding playability.

Hound wound Josefina Pickups are the icing on the cake - her pickups are legendary for a reason with wait times of years for hand spec’d guitars. Only the very finest limited custom guitars would be deserving of such pick ups. Plus the combination of single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions with a humbucker in the bridge position offers a wide range of tones.
