The built-in Loop FX add creative effects such as repeat, shift, scatter, and vinyl-style processing, while the reverse function provides another way to transform your loops.

With 32-bit AD/DA conversion and 32-bit floating-point processing, the RC-500 is designed to maintain clear, detailed audio through recording and overdubbing. Stereo recording and playback operate at 44.1 kHz.

Microphone & Instrument Connectivity

Connect guitars, keyboards, instruments, and other stereo sources through the 1/4-inch inputs. A dedicated balanced XLR microphone input provides independent mic-level control and 48V phantom power for compatible condenser microphones.

The flexible routing system can also send guitar and vocal sources to separate outputs when required.

Rhythms & Creative Tools

Create performances with 57 preset rhythm patterns, each featuring A/B variations, across 16 different drum kits. Rhythm sections can be combined with your loops to create complete musical arrangements without additional equipment.

MIDI & Expanded Control

Advanced users can integrate the RC-500 with MIDI controllers, drum machines, DAWs, and other compatible equipment. External footswitches and expression pedals can also be connected for additional hands-free control.

USB & Loop Management

Store up to 99 phrase memories and back up loop audio to a computer via USB. WAV files can also be imported using BOSS Tone Studio, making the RC-500 useful for backing tracks, practice material, lessons, and live playback.
