Classic Ampeg for the modern bassist who needs versatility. The Ampeg SVT-4PRO Bass Amp Head gives you extensive tone shaping possibilities. On top of the classic Ampeg 3-band EQ, you also have a Frequency control that lets you select the center frequency for the Midrange control; giving you five distinct voicing options for the Midrange. For even more fine-tuning, you a 9-Band Graphic EQ at your command. The 9-band EQ can also act a footswitchable “second channel” with a volume boost for bass solos.
SVT-style Ultra Lo and Ultra Hi modes enhance the low and high frequencies, along with a Bright switch for a livelier treble response. An adjustable, built-in compressor gives your sound more sustain and focus as needed. The back panel also offers you lots of option for hook-up/configuration. There is also a Crossover Frequency Control to set the crossover point between the Bi-amp High and Bi-amp Low outputs, when using the SVT-4PRO in bi-amp mode.
