Sadowsky
Sadowsky Guitars is one of the preeminent names in the world of handmade guitars, basses, and archtops.
Based in New York, highly respected instrument maker Roger Sadowsky has worked with legendary musicians including Will Lee, Marcus Miller, Verdine White, Walter Becker, Jim Hall, and Chuck Loeb to create instruments that are timeless and cutting edge.
Established since 1979, Sadowsky started his business by tweaking vintage Fender basses. He then began creating his own instruments with a signature sound admired by bassists Tal Wilkenfeld, Adam Clayton, and Ben McKee.
Sadowsky guitars are available in a diverse range of styles, from custom renditions of classic guitar designs to innovative original shapes and electric nylon string guitars.
The true master craftsman has also developed a very special line of archtop hollowbody and semi-hollowbody electric guitars. These instruments have become standards in the industry for superior tone, feel, playability and especially value.
After many decades of producing some of the world’s most coveted instruments, Roger and his team continue to be dedicated to improving building techniques and finding innovative materials to build the best instruments for his customers.
