Dubbed a “guitar genius” Abasi is world renowned for his distinctive technique, using extended range guitars, that has inspired countless musicians worldwide.
The guitar icon launched Abasi Guitars in 2017 in a bid to equip other visionary players with the creative tools necessary to break boundaries.

Born in 1983 in the USA to Nigerian immigrants,
Tosin Abasi is a largely self-taught guitarist. He first picked up a guitar at
a friend's house aged of only 12. And for the next 15 years, mastered the
instrument using only instructional videotapes and guitar magazines as
guidance.
Abasi eventually honed his inimitable technique at
the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media and joined the band Reflux before
forming the prog-rock instrumental group Animals As Leaders.
Famed for his advanced skill and technicality, Abasi
favoured extended-range guitars to create heavier, more experimental
sounds.
In 2013, Ibanez named Abasi a signature artist, and
as part of this partnership, he got to personalise his own guitar. This planted
the seed of an idea for designing his own guitar range, based on the axes he
had customised for his personal use. Abasi Concepts guitarists was born!
