The venerable PRS SE Custom 24 gets "408" style upgrades. The PRS SE Custom 24-08 is essentially the versatile Custom 24 fitted with individual mini toggle switches for each of the two humbuckers; a feature found in the famous Core model PRS 408. These switches allow you to turn each of the humbuckers into true single coil mode; yielding more pickup combinations for a wider array of sounds (that makes a total of eight pickup configurations).

Like the SE Custom 24, the 24-08 features that distinctive double-cutaway body shape, with a Mahogany back and gorgeous Maple top for a balanced tone. The 24-fret set-in Maple neck with Wide Thin profile would feel good for anyone; whether you are a super shredder, a traditional blues player, or a beginner learning the first few chords and scales. The 25" scale length is also what gives this guitar its unmistakable PRS feel and sound. The TCI "S" humbuckers sound warm and thick; like vintage humbuckers with a little extra punch. And unlike other humbuckers that sound too thin and sterile when split, the single coil mode of the TCI "S" humbuckers sound have that "twang" and glassy character like that of traditional single coils.
