A stunning carved top made from Highly Figured Maple gives this guitar a killer look. The Single F-Hole design on the bass side adds a cool visual element, reduces the weight of the guitar, and gives it a strong acoustic presence. Finished in Citrus Glow, The body of this Limited Edition PRS is made from Black Limba, a visually striking version of Korina, much darker looking and with more streaks than the White Limba more often seen. The neck is also made of this exceptional tonewood. 

A Black Limba neck is a rare thing of beauty. This is a very resonant and lively tonewood. Korina harkens back to the late 1950s and the Flying V and Explorer from Gibson and has become a thing of lore. The fingerboard is made from Ziricote. This is a killer tonewood with, perhaps, some of the most interesting visual effects, even on some of the more tame pieces. This wood looks as though it has 'grown over itself' seemingly disrupting any uniform growth patterns. Each piece is truly unique, as evident by comparing the fingerboard, headstock overlay, and truss rod cover all made from this wood.  It is a bit softer than Indian Rosewood but harder than Maple so durability is a non-issue. The neck is carved to the Pattern Profile.

The bridge and neck pickups are 58/15 TM Humbuckerswith Smoked Black Covers. The look is completely and totally Bad-A$$! The middle pickup is one of the PRS Narrowfield Humbuckers that, to my ears and eyes, offers an evolutionary step of the Minibucker. Tight, focused, bright, and biting, the Narrowfield really is a thing of beauty, especially when paired with the 58/15 TM buckers. A master volume, master tone, 5-way pickup selector switch, and 2 mini switches for coil tapping the humbuckers round out the electronic details. That's 12 sounds that you can easily find by flicking, twisting, and switching the onboard electronics. Need versatility? This guitar IS sonic versatility!
