PRS Dustie Waring CE Black Top
As one of the guitar players for metalcore outfit Between the Buried and Me, Dustie Waring needs a guitar that can withstand his heavy right hand attack for aggressive riffs, and also allow his left hand to move freely across the fretboard for intricate parts. Waring worked extensively with PRS to develop his kind of guitar, and the result is the PRS DW CE 24 "FLOYD"; Dustie Waring's signature guitar from PRS.
The DW CE 24 Floyd is a hot-rodded version of the legendary CE 24 Bolt-on; fitted with a Floyd Rose 1000 Tremolo for tuning stability amidst heavy riffing and whammy bar abuse. The set of Mojotone DW Tomahawk pickups are custom-wound for Dustie Waring, providing obscene output and low end punch, while retaining note definition and clarity like medium output pickups. The satin-finished Maple neck follows Dustie Waring's custom neck profile, which is slightly thinner than the Pattern Thin profile for comfort and super fast playability. The Maple fretboard also adds crisp high end, and also makes the guitar visually stand out. This model has a Satin Black top for a "tactical" look.
