Ernie Ball Music Man tapped into James' mystique to create the BFR Valentine, combining vintage aesthetics and modern enhancements to form an instrument all its own. This Ball Family Reserve axe boasts a musical-sounding ash body, offering the perfect balance between warmth and brightness with plenty of ear-grabbing mids. Its figured roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard feel great in the hands of players of all generations while laying a solid tonal foundation that plays exceptionally well with the BFR Valentine's electronics. Speaking of electronics, EBMM outfitted the BFR Valentine with an incredible set of custom-designed pickups as well as a handy coil split and gain boost. Even the hardware has been meticulously chosen for quality and reliability, with a Bigsby B5 floating tremolo for vintage-tinged bends and Schaller locking tuners to keep everything in tune while you slay onstage.
