Reuben of JOI guitars makes some of the most jaw dropping guitars ever and when he discussed joining our / ever growing / list of single luthier builders for the Middle East : Bringing the Worlds FINEST Acoustic guitars to the region, it was a short conversation!!

short stories can convey BIG details : when Slash’s ‘finer half’ was seeking out the very best acoustic guitar money and exploration of the worlds best luthiers could find she ended up interviewing a dozen single luthiers who all displayed their work and discussed in depth why they were ‘the One’. JOI Guitars ended up being chosen and building the ‘Slash’ Acoustic as it came to be known - using The Tree from Belize and an incredible and unique bracing system that gives the ultimate in bass, mids, trebles : clarity with power / built to cover everything from Rock n Roll string bends to intricate fingerpicking

Our top team from AOG spent hours with Reuben (JOI) at NAMM 25 and the guitar chosen was actually almost a ‘Twin Slash’ with some very unique and important differences - the neck is made out of exactly the same premium cut of the Belize The Tree as his guitar but, incredibly - the body of the guitar is made out of insanely beautiful moulded Carbon Fibre Quilted single piece material. This material not only brings a singing clarity to the guitar rarely if ever found in other guitars but also ensures that the guitar itself is impervious to changes in Humidity and Temperature..

The Guitar comes complete with a TKL Custom Carbon Fibre Voyager case and a full one-off bespoke brochure guiding the owner through the whole patented design and build process ensuring that not only will the lucky owner have an incredible 1/1 Globally Guitar (with a pretty famous twin) it will also have a booklet to keep forever explaining why this is one of the most exciting, incredibly sounding and beautiful guitars in the world…
