The Ibanez Mårten Hagström Signature M8M is the ultimate expression of Meshuggah guitarist Hagström's distinctive, extreme metal licks. There are no limits to the powerful riffs possible from this unique 8-string, with its vintage black-on-black, Metallica-esque design. But despite these heavyweight credentials, this category of 8-string’s roots go as far back as 19th century classical music, and was finally produced en-masse by Ibanez in 2007. Since then, it has accrued popularity as classic, clean design and bone-crushing, ear-ringing sound clarity has become ever more desirable for performers and serious power musicians.
This blooming popularity has indisputably been driven by metal bands striving for lower and thicker tunings to push boundaries ever further – foremost among them Meshuggah, the math-metal pioneers from Sweden, which explains this iconic partnership with Hagström. Consequently, the Ibanez Mårten Hagström Signature M8M has a marked contemporary appeal, commanding an aggressive down-tuned tone that's punchy and crystal clear. Returns Policy
If you decide to return the instrument, you must notify us via phone or email within the first 72 hours after delivery. We will then issue a Return Authorization. We will not accept any returned items that do not have a previously arranged Return Authorization.
When sending the instrument back to us, please ensure it is packed to the same standards in which it was received, using all supplied packaging. Once the instrument arrives back to us, we will inspect it to ensure it is still in the same condition in which it left our showroom. Once this inspection has taken place, RJ Luthier will issue a refund for the full purchase amount within 14 days.
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer on all musical instrument orders.
If, upon inspection, a guitar is not returned in the same condition it was sent to you in, a restocking fee may be deducted from the refund issued.
