Hamiltone Stevie Ray Vaughan SRV Custom
"Main" was the custom Hamiltone built by James Hamilton of Buffalo, NY that was given to Stevie Ray Vaughan as a gift from Billy Gibbons in 1984. Like this one, it has a highly figured, book-matched reddish top, bound on all edges, a neck-through-body design, It has an ebony fretboard, with "Stevie Ray Vaughan" inlaid in pearl across it and five-piece maple top and cream binding. The longer scale meant you can tune this guitar a step down with thicker strings, the way Stevie normally did.
