Gibson - SG Special [1973]

AED. 14,000.00

Celebrated for its simply outstanding tone, versatility, and low fast action, the Gibson SG Special is a timeless classic and an utterly unique guitar. The sophisticated design is a real beauty, with a silky smooth neck, fitted with a pair of Gibson humbuckers that delivers rich, creamy tones. The great and good of the music world have queued up to sample the Gibson SG Special over the last few decades, including Pete Townshend of The Who, and, perhaps most famously of all, Carlos Santana at the Woodstock festival. This guitar is in great condition with all original parts, and any buyer will be opening up a world of genuine musical history.

The beautiful mahogany body gives way to a C carve neck with pearloid block inlays. There is a 1-9/16" nut width and 24 3/4" scale length, black plastic covered mini-humbuckers, 3-way toggle switch, 70's 'harmonica' bridge, Bigsby vibrato tailpiece and 5-ply small black pickguard. The guitar weighs in at 7 lbs 1.6 oz, making it a relatively light and comfortable play.
