Straight from the pages of the Dream Factory volumes and , more importantly, straight from the History Books - Here we have the Hand Painted and severely limited run of the Fender Custom Shop Monterey Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster!!!

When ‘Jimi’ took to stage with this incredible guitar he captured not just the mood of Monterrey but also the mood of a whole generation- Hand Painted by a close artist friend of his the ‘Flower Power’ bright colour swirls and patterns were a direct contrast to the Huge and Magnificent tones for the generation that Jimi coaxed out of the guitar.

Only 60 of the 100 were completed, finished with hand wound Abigail vintage pickups and delivered on a full metal Monogrammed flight case - the guitar itself nestled in a blue shami leather guitar carry case with tassels and further designs and logos. The whole package incredibly came to us completely unplayed and unused, having never left its case and a brief rest on our Head Luthiers bench showed that all was as it should be - they don’t call these guitars ‘Dream Factory’ for nothing
