Founded by Leigh Dovey and dedicated to the memory of his late father, a prop maker for the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden, PJD has aspirations to become one of the next great guitar makers and with a stunning range of guitars to show for it, PJD is a company you need to keep an eye on.
Dovey spent his early days as a sound and video engineer at the Royal Opera House while honing his guitar making skills at a small workshop. Now based out of a larger unit, he has been putting his heart and soul into building models including the Carey Elite, Carey Custom and Carey Standard which have all received top reviews in Guitarist Magazine (UK).
Dovey now has more models in development and has ambitions to bring even more British handmade models to the guitar industry.
