Take It From The TopThis is the kind of guitar that made George one of the worlds most famous luthiers; lovingly put together by George himself with a hand signed label, the sheer technical brilliance on display explains why he soon after shot to fame and the rest, as they say, is history!Meticulous craftsmanship, silky smooth playabilty and an incredible range of tone are the definining characteristics of Lowden guitars. Created in 1988, in a small workshop based in County Down, Northern Ireland, the Lowden L-25 displays a remarkably loud yet still perfectly balanced voice. Lowden Guitars of the period between late 1985 and 1988, were designed with a slightly smaller version of the oval label. This particular model is extremely rare and it projects and responds strikingly well to a light touch. A wonderful guitar for both flat and fingerpicker players looking for a lot of sound, it’s in very good condition with only minor signs of wear.
