Gretsch 7670 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman [1978]

A truly iconic example of that distinctive Gretsch craftmanship, the 6122 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman first came to prominence in 1957. From 1971, the model number was updated from 6122 to 7670, but the character and sound remained very much intact. Gretsch guitars are a favorite among some of the top musicians in rock, blues and jazz music history, including Chet Atkins, Brian Setzer, George Harrison and The King himself, Elvis Presley .

Features:

  • Body: Double-bound hollow body with maple top, back and sides, in walnut finish. Gretsch Bigsby tailpiece with a wire tremolo arm and a height-adjustable bridge, with six individual saddles. Gretsch G-Arrow control knobs, dual bound f-holes and a gold pickguard.
  • Neck: Slender, flame maple neck with a bound ebony fingerboard. Neo-classic thumbnail inlays, a zero fret and a 1 11/16” nut. Bound headstock with Grover tuners, 24.75” scale length.
  • Pickups/Electronics: Original Gretsch black top Filter’Tron pickups in the neck and bridge with dual volume controls, a master volume control, 3-way on/off switch, 3-way tone switch and a 3-way pickup selector switch.
  • Neck: 4.21K Ohms.
  • Bridge: 4.16K Ohms.

Returns Policy

If you decide to return the instrument, you must notify us via phone or email within the first 72 hours after delivery. We will then issue a Return Authorization. We will not accept any returned items that do not have a previously arranged Return Authorization.​
When sending the instrument back to us, please ensure it is packed to the same standards in which it was received, using all supplied packaging. Once the instrument arrives back to us, we will inspect it to ensure it is still in the same condition in which it left our showroom. Once this inspection has taken place, RJ Luthier will issue a refund for the full purchase amount within 14 days.​​
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer on all musical instrument orders.​
If, upon inspection, a guitar is not returned in the same condition it was sent to you in, a restocking fee may be deducted from the refund issued.
