Introducing the Art of Guitar's exclusive Private Collection piece, the Gibson Flying V Centennial 1994 Gold. This rare guitar is one of only 100 ever made by Gibson's team of world-class luthiers in Nashville to commemorate the brand's 100 Year Anniversary. What sets this guitar apart is its unique 22K gold plating on the metal parts and body painted 14k, making it a true work of art.

The Flying V Centennial features four diamonds on the headstock and knobs, adding a touch of luxury and elegance to its design. Its serial number, 1944, indicates that it is the 50th guitar produced out of the 100 limited edition pieces. The 11 pt. diamond on the Gibson headstock logo, 5 pt. diamond detents on the 22K gold plated top hat knobs, and diamond jeweled sterling silver Centennial serial number (1894-1994) are just a few of the jeweled appointments that add to its overall value, making it worth over $3,000 in jeweled appointments alone.

The guitar also features a gold plated top hat knobs with a 100 Year Anniversary logo, mother of pearl inlays including the 12th fret, and a 100th Anniversary banner. It also includes a 22K gold plated anniversary Orville Gibson coin embedded on the back of the headstock and a Centennial headstock cover with the 100th Anniversary logo.

This exclusive Private Collection piece was played by Scorpions guitarist Rudolf Schenker in Beirut, Oct 2018, adding to its rich history and provenance. The Gibson Flying V Centennial 1994 Gold is a rare, high-end collectible guitar and is gaining value as the years go by.
