Gretsch 6125 Single Anniversary [1958]
Released in 1958 to commomerate Gretsch’s 75th anniversary, this is a rare, stunning Gretsch 6125 with a two-tone smoke green finish and exclusive built-in playing features that help generate a sound of great distinction. This guitar is in excellent condition, with all its original parts. The binding is intact but it appears that a portion of the lacquer has been scraped away on some areas of the back binding. Despite this, the overall package is in extremely good condition, and it’s undeniably a really cool piece of vintage music memorabilia, very collectable and utterly playable.
Special Features
Featuring single cutaway, laminate maple hollow body construction, single PAF Gretsch Filter'Tron pickup and rocker bar bridge with wooden ebony base, there are some fascinating features to this period piece. The Gretsch G cutout tailpiece is striking, while other aspects include two oversized f-holes, white binding on the top and back body edges, Gretsch plexiglass pickguard with metal bracket, one Gretsch G with arrow knurled master volume knob, tone selector and a three way toggle switch. There is a two-piece laminated maple neck, ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl neoclassical thumbnail inlays starting at the first fret, black headstock overlay with mother of pearl Gretsch logo inlay and an Anniversary model plate with engraved diamond. You’ll also see open gear "rope" smooth button tuners and original screw in place strap button, all set off against a two-tone smoke green finish. The original hard shell case is also included.

If you decide to return the instrument, you must notify us via phone or email within the first 72 hours after delivery. We will then issue a Return Authorization. We will not accept any returned items that do not have a previously arranged Return Authorization.
When sending the instrument back to us, please ensure it is packed to the same standards in which it was received, using all supplied packaging. Once the instrument arrives back to us, we will inspect it to ensure it is still in the same condition in which it left our showroom. Once this inspection has taken place, RJ Luthier will issue a refund for the full purchase amount within 14 days.
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer on all musical instrument orders.
If, upon inspection, a guitar is not returned in the same condition it was sent to you in, a restocking fee may be deducted from the refund issued.
